Chekin
the startup that automates the check-in process in tourist apartments and hotels, winner of Alhambra Venture in 2020, has closed a round of 1.1 million euros. The transaction was led by Dozen Investments . JME and Encomenda also participated as co-investors.
This is a capital increase of a total of 1,100,000 euros, in which Dozen has raised 335,000 euros from a total of 87 investors. JME has participated with a space of 100,000 euros, and Encomenda with 25,000 euros, both doing follow-on.
The capital raised in the round will go to:
- Increase investment in marketing and sales, something to which very few resources had been allocated to date.
- Adapt the product to the hotel sector with the creation of new Room Assignment and Onsite Check-in tools, in addition to working on integrations with more than 20 PMS in the hotel vertical.
- Continue working on improving the current product.
The company led by Carlos Lagares (CEO and founder) is a B2B SaaS that automates the check-in process in tourist apartments and hotels, from booking to check-out. The software helps managers of tourist apartments to be more productive and at the same time, improves the user experience of the hosted guest.
Over the past two years, the company has continuously managed more than 20,000 properties and six million guests. In addition, Chekin is already present in more than 10 countries and has very important clients such as: Sonder, Smoobu, Amenitiz, Oyo Rooms, among others.
